How to Connect to zkSync
Learn how to connect to your zkSync nodes using Blockdaemon via cURL or WebSockets.
In this guide, you'll learn the following methods of connection to the zkSync infrastructure:
Note:
If you haven't configured any infrastructures, visit the zkSync marketplace page to learn more about Blockdaemon's zkSync options.
How to Access Your Blockdaemon zkSync Credentials
After purchasing your Blockdaemon zkSync infrastructure, access your credentials:
- Log into the Blockdaemon app.
- In the Access menu, click Nodes.
- Click the zkSync node.
- Click the Connect tab.
In the Connection Information section, you'll find the following:
- Node URL
- Auth Token
zkSync RPC connection via cURL
Use cURL to establish a zkSync RPC connection with the following command:
curl -X POST \
https://<YOUR_NODE_URL> \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H 'X-Auth-Token: <YOUR_AUTH_TOKEN>' \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0", "id":2, "method": "YOUR_RPC_METHOD", "params": [YOUR_PARAMS] }'
- Replace
YOUR_NODE_URL
with the node URL in the Blockdaemon app. - Replace
YOUR_AUTH_TOKEN
with the Auth Token in the Blockdaemon app. - Replace
YOUR_RPC_METHOD
with your chosen RPC method. - Replace
YOUR_PARAMS
with your selected RPC parameters.
zkSync Connection via WebSocket
Add your access credentials to a WebSocket connection request:
wscat -H "X-Auth-Token: YOUR_AUTH_TOKEN" -c wss://YOUR_ENDPOINT_URL:8443/websocket
- Replace
YOUR_AUTH_TOKEN
with the Auth Token in the Blockdaemon app. - Replace
YOUR_NODE_URL
with the node URL in the Blockdaemon app.
Info:
wscat is a tool that can connect over WebSocket(s) and may need to be installed. You can use your preferred tool of choice.
